General
SaveSlide is a collection of free online tools for working with presentations. You can download public SlideShare presentations, convert PDF files to PowerPoint, compress PPTX images, inspect PowerPoint file details, and combine images into PDF or PPTX documents.
Yes. Every tool on SaveSlide is 100% free with no hidden charges, no premium tiers, and no signup required. You can use all tools as many times as you want.
No. SaveSlide does not require registration, login, or email. You can start using any tool immediately.
Yes. All tools are built to work on phones, tablets, and desktop computers. The interface adjusts automatically to your screen size.
Privacy & Safety
Yes. Most SaveSlide tools run entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to our servers. For browser-based tools like PDF to PPTX, the PPTX compressor, the file inspector, and Images to Document, all processing happens on your device.
No. Browser-based tools process files locally on your device and never send them to any server. The SlideShare downloader fetches publicly available slide images from SlideShare's own CDN. SaveSlide does not permanently store any user files.
No. For browser-based tools, your files stay on your device. They are read by JavaScript in your browser and never leave your computer. You can verify this by checking your browser's network activity while using the tools.
SaveSlide uses minimal cookies for basic site functionality. We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, and you can decline tracking cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data.
SlideShare Downloader
Paste the public SlideShare URL into the input field on the homepage, click "Fetch Slides," preview the slides, select the ones you want, choose PDF or ZIP format, and click download. The whole process takes a few seconds.
You can download as PDF (all selected slides combined into one file) or as a ZIP archive containing individual slide images. Both options support HD and SD quality.
No. SaveSlide only works with publicly accessible SlideShare presentations. We do not bypass login requirements, access restrictions, or privacy settings.
Make sure the URL is a valid SlideShare link (e.g., https://www.slideshare.net/username/presentation-name). The presentation must be publicly accessible. If the author has restricted access, SaveSlide cannot process it.
No. SlideShare downloads contain slide images, not editable text. The original slide content is captured as images, which preserves the visual layout but does not include editable text layers.
PDF to PPTX Converter
Each PDF page is rendered as a high-quality image, then placed onto a PowerPoint slide. This preserves the exact visual layout of every page. The conversion happens entirely in your browser.
No. The output is image-based. Each slide contains a full-page image of the original PDF page. This approach guarantees the layout looks exactly the same, but the text is not editable. If you need editable text, you would need OCR software.
The tool supports PDF files up to 50 MB and up to 100 pages. Since processing happens in your browser, very large files may be slower depending on your device.
No. The entire conversion runs in your browser using JavaScript. Your PDF file is never uploaded to any server.
PPTX Image Compressor
Results vary depending on the images inside your PPTX. Files with many high-resolution photos typically see 30-70% size reduction. Files with mostly vector graphics or small images may see less savings. The tool shows exact before/after sizes.
No. The compressor only targets embedded JPEG and PNG images inside the PPTX package. Text, shapes, charts, animations, and slide layouts remain completely unchanged.
It works with modern .pptx files only. Older .ppt format files are not supported. The file must be a valid PPTX (Office Open XML) document.
PPTX File Inspector
The PPTX inspector reveals slide count, slide dimensions and aspect ratio, total file size, embedded media types (images, audio, video), individual media file sizes, and overall file structure. It helps you understand exactly what is inside a PowerPoint file.
No. The inspector is read-only. It analyzes and reports information but does not modify your file in any way.
Images to PDF / PPTX
The tool accepts JPEG, PNG, and WebP images. You can combine multiple images into a single PDF or PPTX document.
You can combine multiple images in a single session. Each image is placed on its own page (PDF) or slide (PPTX) and fitted without stretching or cropping.
Yes. You can drag and reorder images before creating the final document. The output follows the order you set.
Troubleshooting
Try these steps: Refresh the page and try again. Make sure JavaScript is enabled in your browser. Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Edge work best). Check that your browser is not blocking pop-ups or downloads. Clear your browser cache and try again.
This can happen if the download was interrupted or your browser ran out of memory during processing. Try again with a stable internet connection. For very large files, close other browser tabs to free up memory.
Some tools (PPT/PPTX to PDF and SlidePlayer Downloader) are currently paused because we could not verify accurate and consistent output. We only offer tools where we can guarantee reliable results. Check the Status page for current availability.
