SaveSlide is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our website and tools.

Information We Collect

Browser-Only Files

The PDF-to-image-PPTX, PPTX image compressor, PPTX file inspector, and images-to-document tool process selected source files inside your browser. Those source files are not uploaded to SaveSlide.

Temporary Slide Data

The public presentation downloaders temporarily retrieve slide images to create previews and requested PDF or ZIP exports. Temporary server-side files and access tokens are eligible for deletion after 30 minutes. A scheduled cleanup task removes expired data.

URLs You Submit

When you submit a public presentation URL, SaveSlide uses it to perform the requested action. Full submitted URLs and filenames are not included in anonymous analytics. A short-lived PHP session may retain the submitted URL so the same request can complete.

Contact Form Information

If you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry.

Automatic Information

Our hosting provider may create standard server access logs containing:

• Your IP address
• Browser type and version
• Operating system
• Pages you visit on our site
• Time and date of your visit

SaveSlide also stores aggregate tool-event counts such as success, failure category, and output format. These aggregate records do not contain IP addresses, submitted URLs, filenames, document contents, or slide contents.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Process public presentation previews and exports
• Respond to your contact form submissions
• Improve our website and tools
• Analyze usage patterns to enhance user experience

Data Storage and Security

Browser-only source files stay on your device. Temporary server-side slide previews, exports, and access tokens expire after 30 minutes and are removed by scheduled or request-triggered cleanup. Standard hosting logs may follow the hosting provider's separate retention schedule.

Temporary storage is blocked from direct web access. Generated files and previews are served through random, expiring access tokens.

Cookies

Cookies and similar storage may be used for essential sessions, consent choices, analytics, and—after approval—advertising. Google consent mode defaults advertising and analytics storage to denied until an applicable consent signal is available.

We may use:

• Consent-based analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our site
• Advertising cookies only where permitted and consented to

Third-Party Services

SaveSlide uses Google Analytics and carries an AdSense account-verification meta tag while review is pending. Ad delivery is disabled. Google services may process device and usage information according to your consent choices and Google's own policies. SaveSlide does not send source files, presentation URLs, filenames, or document contents to analytics.

The header language selector is optional. When you choose a non-English language, your browser opens the current public page through Google Translate. This sends the public page URL and page content to Google only after you make that selection. Machine-translated versions are not published as indexable SaveSlide language pages.

When SlideShare rejects a request from the hosting server, SaveSlide may send the already-public SlideShare page URL to Jina Reader solely to retrieve its public page representation and locate public slide images. No uploaded file, private document, contact information, or analytics identifier is sent through this fallback.

Your Rights

• Request deletion of your contact form submissions
• Opt out of analytics tracking by adjusting your browser settings

Children's Privacy

Our website is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
